It currently brings together 2,858 active farmers whose crops are centered around the queen of the region – Mount Kenya. The cooperative's headquarters are located in the Ngariama area on the southern slopes of the mountain. Fun fact: Most coffee growers in Kenya own between 1/8 and 1/4 of a hectare of land and deliver their coffee as cherries to a local processing station, such as Karimikui, for sorting and processing. At the station, the deliveries are tasted, and after selection, they are mixed and processed into daily lots (microlots). Store in a dry and cool place.
